Trent Stamp's Take on Hurricane Katrina

To gain a better understanding of the unprecedented philanthropic response to Hurricane Katrina, Trent Stamp, Charity Navigator's president and executive director, recently visited New Orleans. While there he met with several charities, including Northwest Medical Teams International and the American Red Cross. He toured the destruction, saw the recovery efforts that are underway and learned more about what still needs to be done.
