Hurricane Milton

Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall in October 2024, potentially as a Category 5 storm, bringing devastating winds and torrential rain. Residents have been urged to evacuate, leading to significant mobilization along the coast. Florida's hurricane season this year has been especially devastating, with residents still coping with the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene. Various nonprofit organizations and relief agencies are assisting by offering food, medical care, and support to those evacuating and displaced.
