    To preserve and maintain the Channing Chapel building and grounds for the use of the Town of Winter Harbor. It is presently used by the Winter Harbor Library for use as a library and Channing Chapel receives minimum donations from library toward the upkeep of the Chapel. It serves about 500 year-round residents plus additional seasonal residents.
