Projects With Care Inc.

Mission

PROJECTS WITH CARE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in New York City, works closely with housing and social services agencies to coordinate need-based initiatives for families who could use a helping hand. PROJECTS WITH CARE focuses on building the self-esteem of families in need, helping them participate in social norms and supporting them in ways that are often overshadowed by the urgent need for food and shelter.

Goals

1.Project Welcome Home will fill in the gap for families who have survived domestic violence by providing the basic home necessities as they transition from shelter life to independent living.
2.We are continuing to focus on growing and expanding our Project First Day and Stockings With Care programs to meet the needs of underserved New York City children.
3.Projects With Care recently transitioned from a volunteer-led nonprofit to a professional organization after realizing it could generate a greater impact.
