Mission

Southeast Vermont Transit is committed to advancing the quality of life and economic vitality in the communities we serve by delivering safe, reliable, efficient and courteous transit service to the broadest population base possible. SEVT should set the benchmark for efficiency and excellence among Vermont public transit organizations.

Vision

To provide access to all services - employment, education, health care, quality of life, and personal care needs - to all those who need in our service territory.

Goals

1.We continually seek input from our public transit riders of the services they need to get to and we plan accordingly.
2.We add additional hours of service, change the type of service, address peak period demand, and other methods to our existing programs and services to better serve the public.
3.We have had to reduce service last year in response to state and federal funding changes, and we did so with the best interests of riders and more often than not reduced the frequency of service to keep our routes still operating.
