The mission of the 26.2 Foundation is to advance the global sport of marathoning while harnessing the power of the human spirit and its capacity for good. We are a non-profit organization with community roots in Hopkinton, MA and international reach.

Vision

To be the global point of connection for the marathon community by: Honoring the history and legacy of the marathon; Celebrating outstanding individual achievements; Inspiring a commitment to wellness.

Goals

1.Development of the International Marathon Center. Our plans call for a state-of-the-art education and conference facility, museum, and a hall of fame. The IMC is a destination designed to engage visitors intellectually, emotionally and physically, it will feature compelling programs on history, democracy, civics, fitness, nutrition, health and human potential.
