Vision

Through the lens of mission focus, we plan to increase engagement, excitement, and education of young learners through shared experiences and variable outcomes embedded intentionally into unique programs that inspire wonder and ignite creativity. The foundation for a lifetime love of STEAM learning begins at the point where an individual takes physical ownership of execution and outcomes. “The learning is in the doing,” as we say.

Goals

1. 1.Accessibility - First and foremost, the resources provided by the Discovery organization must be made available to ALL. Through the intentional implementation of equitable access, we hope to engage the entire (local/county/tri-state) population with careful regard to different abilities, learning levels, generation, culture, language, socio-economic status, and beyond.
2. 2.Scalability - Discovery's offerings will be continually iterative as we strive to meet guests on their level, from pre-k to seniors and everything in between. As we rise to this new occasion, we are soliciting feedback to continually gauge interaction and evolve accordingly to create a stage for multi-generational learning through curiosity and inspiration.
3. 3.Sustainability - A plan for responsible sustainability includes not only a track for financial sufficiency and growth, but community engagement, personnel and board succession planning, and lasting endowments to ensure longevity in critical fundamental areas of operations.
