Mission

GCSA develops and maintains meaningful, consistent relationships between NYC students, staff, and volunteer mentors from the professional community. Our mentoring curriculum provides students with innovative guidance and exposure to college and career resources as they explore their lives beyond high school. The GCSA community becomes a second family whose support never ends.

Vision

GCSA envisions a world where young people of color, especially from lower-income households, have the resources they need to face systemic barriers to accessing and persisting in postsecondary education.

Goals

1.Ensure continuity and quality in the GCSA community and individualized supports we have cultivated so that our students have what they need to navigate a path to and through postsecondary education.
2.Implement a viable fundraising plan that reflects the organization GCSA is today, supporting our core program and operating expenses and meeting our students’ needs.
