At Team New York Aquatics Inc., we envision a vibrant future where every LGBTQ+ athlete in the greater New York City area is empowered to realize their full potential in aquatic sports. By fostering an inclusive and supportive community, we aspire to break down barriers, promote wellness, and celebrate diversity in every splash. Together, we aim to create an enduring legacy of acceptance and achievement, inspiring generations of athletes to pursue their dreams with confidence and pride.

Goals

1. 1.Increase participation in Team New York Aquatics’ programs by 30% over three years by expanding outreach, adding beginner and low-cost entry initiatives, forming at least five new community partnerships, and increasing practice access in underserved areas, while maintaining at least 85% participant satisfaction in safety and inclusion.
2. 2.Over the next three years, TNYA will advance gender inclusivity in Masters Swimming by participating in quarterly policy discussions or formal feedback processes with United States Masters Swimming and building partnerships with at least three advocacy organizations aligned with LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport.
3. 3.Over the next three years, TNYA will conduct annual needs assessments and launch at least two new programs responding to identified community changes. Each program will be piloted within 12 months of need identification, achieve at least 70% participant satisfaction in its first year, and be evaluated annually for impact and sustainability.
