Mission

Emerge Gallery Art Center, Inc. is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Pitt County, North Carolina by promoting artists and arts organizations, educating through the arts, and making the arts accessible to the entire community.

Vision

Emerge will: Serve all of Pitt County, Be the voice for local artists and art lovers, Emphasize diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, and Establish the county as a regional arts and cultural hub.

Goals

1.Serve all of Pitt County. Objectives include regular contact with community arts leaders across the county and work to increase arts participation across all organizations.
2.Be the voice for local artists and art lovers. To this end, we are enhancing our marketing of all arts events in the county and advocating for arts programming and funding.
3.Emphasize diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility. Emerge is ensuring multicultural representation and creating space for lesser-supported artistic forms.
