Vascular Birthmarks Foundation Inc.

Mission

The Vascular Birthmarks Foundation’s mission is to network families affected by Vascular Birthmarks, Anomalies, and/or Related Syndromes (VBARS) to the appropriate medical professionals for evaluation and/or treatment, provide informational resources, sponsor physician education, mobilize medical missions, collaborate on research, and support programs that promote acceptance.

Through the VBF Scholarship Program, which began in 2012, students who have or had a vascular birthmark, anomaly, and/or related syndrome (VBARS) can receive financial assistance to pursue their educational goals.

3.We offer monthly VBF Facebook Live events, enabling families and patients to directly ask their questions to the top experts. We also held bi-monthly VBF Parent Advocacy Network (PAN) Zoom sessions and VBF Adults Living With…(ALWAN) Zoom sessions, creating safe spaces for participants to attend and share, meet others affected by a VBARS, or come to just listen and make new friends.
