    Rome Chamber Music Festival at Villa Aurelia Inc.

    Mission

    he Rome Chamber Music Festival, a 501(c)3 and ONLUS non-profit organization, was founded by Robert McDuffie in 2003. Since its inception, the Festival has played to full houses of chamber music enthusiasts from around the world and has become one of Rome’s most anticipated annual cultural events. Each June, the Festival presents distinct programs of masterworks performed by world-renowned artists and aspiring young artists. Dedicated to nurturing new talent, the Rome Chamber Music Festival seeks to further the education and performing experience of young artists from the United States and abroad. Each year the Festival invites a select number of music students from the McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer University and young artists from across the globe to participate in its young artist program. Access to prominent artists and the opportunity to perform alongside them is invaluable to a young artist’s personal and professional aspirations.
