Mission

The FPCD was founded in 2005 with a two-fold mission: To empower women through creating access to maternal health services, improving maternal health culture, and providing training opportunities; and to empower and engage youth by creating recreational spaces that promote inclusion, support education, and encourage positive participation in society. The FPCD makes no judgement on conflict or the manner in which it may or may not have been resolved. The Foundation is strictly a humanitarian organization. As an officially associated organization with the Department of Global Communications of the United Nations, the FPCD helps to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals with a focus on the areas related to Maternal Health and Youth Empowerment. With projects in Timor-Leste Haiti and Ivory Coast the FPCD is assisting post-conflict communities with projects essential to their development.
