Vision

NAEF envisions a world in which every individual has equitable access to quality education, unlocking their full potential and contributing to a thriving global society. Our foundation is committed to catalyzing positive change by fostering a dynamic learning environment that transcends barriers and empowers learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Goals

1. 1.NAEF aims to improve educational equity across our school district. We focus our funding and programming on the most underserved schools in our district. We work with the building principals to identify gaps and needs, and we attempt to find funding to build and support programming, as well as find organizations to help facilitate programming.
2. 2.NAEF aims to raise funds to support and grow existing programming. We do this most specifically with the annual One Book One Norristown arts and literacy festival. We have also helped schools grow existing programs and initiatives, such as horticulture/gardening, STEAM, music, and theater arts.
3. 3.NAEF is an education foundation, but it is also a community foundation. We advocate for our Norristown community through participation in and collaboration with various community projects and groups, like the Norristown Area Literacy Collaborative, Restorative Norristown, and Norristown Youth Athletic Association.
