MOWOC envisions an Ocean County where all seniors live fully nourished lives, both mentally & physically.

Goals

1. 1.• Build a Campaign Case for Support branded More Then Meals. • Recruit a Campaign Committee and Board Development Committee to build an Annual, Capital and Planned Giving Effort to support ongoing, sustainable and improved services. • Investing in Infrastructure and Technology. o Support route optimization, meal tracking and participant data collection and reporting.
2. 2.• Build a Community Impact Coalition that allow seniors to remain independent – Food, Transportation, Mental Health, Accessibility & Socialization • Promote Awareness & Advocacy for Participants & Community – More Than Meals o Create marketing efforts with a consistent, ongoing online community presence. Inform, Educate, Advocate & Invite all to serve.
3. 3.o Implementing medical meals, food as medicine as an important next step opportunity. o Expand outreach of our program to become a one stop referral shop to inform seniors of available programs. o Improve programming at the Community Café and engage a more diverse community of participants to foster best practice in congregate approaches to food and socialization for those we serve.
