    Mission

    Lynn Shelter Association’s mission is to provide a safe environment for each individual to define and pursue their goals for independence and self-sufficiency. We believe everyone deserves a place to call home. Each year, we help more than 1,000 individuals and families from Lynn and the North Shore who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We operate an Adult Emergency Shelter, three Family Shelters, Permanent Supportive Housing, Community Outreach, and Housing Support Services that help people move beyond homelessness and into stable, long‑term housing. We create warm, supportive environments – by listening and building relationships based on dignity and respect.
