Goals

1. 1.As our organization grows, we focus on good board management, attracting and retaining skilled staff, and creating systems to ensure efficiency and efficacy in our outreach, constituent development, and financial stability. Our focus includes board development, improving staff culture, and best business practices to create a solid foundation for expanding our protection and care for land.
2. 2.Our core programs include land protection and building support for the values that public trails and natural spaces provide to communities. Natural spaces support physical and emotional health and quality habitats while effectively mitigating the impacts of climate change. Intensification of development and climate impacts create the urgency we need to focus on these core activities.
3. 3.We serve a diverse range of communities offering no or low cost programs across our geography serving different interests, availabilities, and needs from hiking and birding to yoga to movie night. Through surveys and conversations with our constituents we aim to make our offerings more appealing and accessible posting them in advance and providing qualified guides. Programs are key to engagement.
