Vision

Our affiliate and primary ministry, the Koutiala (Mali, West Africa) Women's and Children's Hospital (the "Hospital"), exists to provide the best medical, obstetrical, and surgical care in Mali, one of the poorest regions of the poorest countries in the world. Its' goal is not limited to alleviate physical and temporal suffering, but to seek eternal spiritual healing for every patient who is treated, as well as their families. Our vision is to fund and equip the Hospital to be the leading Christian healthcare and training institution in Mali, offering affordable, accessible and sustainable services. We are in the final stages of designing a proposed new hospital wing with approximately 80,000 square feet. We have raised funds to construct an entry building to the hospital with construction beginning in early 2026. Fundraising for the new hospital wing is ongoing.

Goals

1. 1.Construction of the Hospital began in 2003 and the maternity ward opened in 2006. Seven buildings have been constructed since the Hospital's beginnings. Today, the Hospital has 181 beds, performs over 3500 deliveries per year and 200 surgeries per month, all while admitting over 600 patients per month.
2. 2.Recently completed a physical therapy center for patients with cerbral palsy, orthopedic issues and stroke recovery. We are in the process of installing new optometry equipment as well as glasses production equipment. We recently purchased a dental delivery machine, received 2 dental donated chairs and lights. We'll soon begin construction of a Hospital entry building.
3. 3.Recently launched a $13.5MM campaign to build and equip an entry building and 80,000 square foot primarily pediatric/obstetric hospital which will include a new imaging center, new laboratory, expanded pharmacy, new birthing facility, expanded neonatal ICU, pediatric ward, pediatric ER, 20 bed nursery, adult ICU and ER, and 7 operating rooms.
