IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER THE GEORGIA NONPROFIT CORPORATION ACT, HAVING FOR ITS PRINCIPAL PURPOSE IS TO BE THE PROMINENT REGIONAL COLLABORATIVE COMMUNITY RESOURCE FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THROUGH NURTURING, EDUCATION, MENTORING, ADVOCACY, EMPOWERMENT AND CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION. THE ORGANIZATION IS SUPPORTED PRIMARILY BY GOVERNMENT GRANTS.
