Mission

Keystone Hospice’s mission is to provide exceptional state-of-the-art skilled nursing care and home hospice care, or residential hospice care, with strong emotional and spiritual support in order to enable terminally ill patients to maintain dignity throughout the dying process and to assist their families through the bereavement period.

1.Restore the many programs which were eliminated because of the pandemic. These include creative arts therapies, complementary therapies, and volunteer activities as well as in-person events.
2.Expand the Keystone Palliative Care program. Six physicians and seven NP’s staff the program at Keystone Hospice and 3 area hospitals. The goal is to serve more individuals in an out-patient setting.
3.Undertake a capital campaign to renovate and reconfigure the existing Keystone House, install an elevator, and construct a 17,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art wing to house a full array of programs.
