Vision

Ending "Period Poverty" by 2040 which in turn keeps girls in school, keeps them healthy from using unhygienic products such as rags and banana leaves, lowers teen pregnancy rates and child marriage rates by decreasing "transactional sex" for pads. It saves the environment (because it's 0 waste) and saves users $5-$8/month for 10 years by not having to buy menstrual products.

Goals

1. 1.There are over 500,000,000 girls who need but cannot afford a menstrual product every month. Our intervention is proven to be a solution that works incredibly well in schools, rural communities, refugee/IDP camps, and prisons, as well as for any user who cares about the environment or wants to save money. We are looking to scale our $1/year solution.
2. 2.There is still a great deal of misunderstanding and misinformation about the menstrual cup. To combat this, we are working to expand our messaging campaigns in partnership with local governments through PSAs on TV/Radio/Billboards. In addition, we work with local governments to advocate for inclusion of the menstrual cups along with disposable and reusable pads within their MHM policies/programs.
3. 3.We currently utilize a contract manufacturer to make the cups. Our strategy around this goal is to build a factory in Africa by the end of 2026 to create jobs and increase the number of cups we can distribute. As we grow we will continue to hire additional monitoring & evaluating (M&E) specialists to monitor and safeguard our work. We are also working to digitize our health education program.
