Guitars Over Guns Organization, Inc.

Mission

The mission of Guitars Over Guns Organization (GOGO) is to empower youth through the arts and mentorship. The organization aims to help youth from vulnerable communities overcome hardship, find their voice, and reach their potential as leaders through a powerful combination of music & arts education and mentoring by professional musicians.

Vision

A world where young people, regardless of circumstance, are empowered to reach their full potential through the power of the arts and mentorship—in safe spaces that foster self-expression, positive choices, and future leaders.

Goals

1.National Expansion and Curriculum Development: The organization aims to expand its reach by opening programs in additional cities and developing a comprehensive curriculum to support arts-based youth development. We plan to significantly increase the number of students served, with a target to reach 10,000 students annually by 2035, while maintaining high levels of student engagement and success.
2.Funding Growth: Guitars Over Guns has set ambitious funding targets, aiming to increase their funding to $20 million by 2035 to support their expansion and program initiatives.
3.Standardize Excellence: Enhance the execution of our core curriculum to ensure that every student receives consistent, high-quality mentorship and a transformative experience. By standardizing program delivery and rigorous training for our mentors, we aim to uphold excellence across all locations, where every young participant can thrive and reach their full potential through music and mentorship
