Vision

By offering free and accessible classes, workshops, and performances, DVP fosters community engagement while creating vibrant, theatrical dance experiences that bring together professional dancers and older adults in dynamic, intergenerational collaboration.

Goals

1. 1.Expand site networks for seniors offering free and accessible classes. We offer classes at 30 sites & parks, and 11 city council districts across NYC. Continue community engagement, creating experiences for professional dancers & older adults for intergenerational collaboration. Expand dedicated staff & teachers. Ensuring that our programs prioritize underrepresented communities.
2. 2.Enhance staff and TA development to ensure respect, value, and growth opportunities at DVP. Additionally, we will expand financial resources through fundraising campaigns, corporate sponsorships, and a legacy program, and invest in board development and expansion.
