TESTICULAR CANCER AWARENESS FOUNDATION STRIVES TO SPREAD AWARENESS, SUPPORT THE FIGHT AGAINST TESTICULAR CANCER AND CONTINUE TO SAVE LIVES. AWARENESS. SUPPORT. SURVIVORSHIP.WE ARE A NONPROFIT COMPASSIONATELY DEDICATED IN THE FIGHT AGAINST TESTICULAR CANCER THROUGH AWARENESS AND OUTREACH, PROMOTING THE IMPORTANCE OF MONTHLY SELF-EXAMS FOR EARLY DETECTION, SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE TO PATIENTS AND FAMILIES, PROVIDING A RESOURCE FOR THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY, PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN NEED AND CONTINUING TO SAVE LIVES.

Goal One: We stress the importance of early detection through the practice of monthly testicular self-exams (TSE) We are fighting to make TSE part of all health education classes taught from middle school on.

Goal Two: We would like to expand our direct financial assistance program for patients and families awarding a minimum of $10,000 every year to those currently undergoing treatment for testicular cancer.

Goal Three: We would like to distribute 100,000 more educational materials throughout the US and other countries so our educational material can be found throughout medical offices and schools.

Over the past year our Director of Operations has attended several virtual conferences to help support and grow our foundation through our online website, social media, fundraising and grant writing.

TCAF hosts virtual and in person conferences that our medical staff and board members present at to bring new and useful information to patients, survivors and caregivers. Our board members are consistently helping to manage our support group on social media and posting on all social media outlets to promote TCAF and our programs, TCAF has a podcast "It Takes Balls" that is hosted and managed by a board member. Our staff and board members also distribute educational materials at their local level.

TCAF recognized the emotional toll the pandemic was having on our survivors and how treatment options had changed as well as access to treatment. Many survivors were concerned with how COVID-19 and the pandemic would affect them. TCAF reached out to our medical experts and supporters and found the best way to disseminate the information and provide the most valuable support to our audience was to host our first Virtual Testicular Cancer Conference. We focused on bringing an international group of TC patients, survivors and their loved ones together to address the physical and emotional toll of being diagnosed and treated for a cancer at a young age. We discussed life with and after cancer, and lifestyle changes that can help the healing process. We invited a panel of medical experts to provide pertinent information for patients currently fighting and resources for long-term survivorship. Our Virtual Testicular Cancer Conference proved to be a great success. We had attendees from across the globe United States, Abu Dhabi, Australia, Canada, Ghana, Costa Rica, Ireland, Kosov, Japan, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, Thailand, and United Kingdom. This conference yet again proved to be life changing and we will continue to hold virtual conferences for all to attend.
