    Mission

    Founded in 2009, the US Friends of the IISS is dedicated to increasing public awareness of and providing support for IISS research, programs, and activities across the Institute's five offices in Berlin, London, Manama, Singapore, and Washington, DC. Working closely with the IISS–Americas office in Washington, DC, the US Friends of the IISS engages US supporters through virtual and online events, private expert briefings from IISS researchers, roundtable discussions, curated networking events, and access to first-hand insights on issues of geopolitical and strategic importance.
