Forerunner Mentoring

Mission

We exist to fulfill the potential of every young man in Lake Highlands without a father at home by providing mentoring, programs, and family support in the name of Jesus.

Vision

We exist to help every boy in Lake Highlands growing up without a father-figure at home fulfill their potential through mentoring, programs, and supporting their families in the name of Jesus.

Goals

1.Increase Forerunner’s reach by serving 250 boys growing up without a father at home through K-8 After-School Clubs and High School Ministry, 175 moms through Family Ministry, 150 mentor matches through One to One Mentoring, and 50 graduates through a new Alumni program.
2.Strengthen K-8 After-School Clubs by standardizing sites to two days per week and dedicating Mondays to family outreach, volunteer support, staff training, and site preparation that improve program quality, safety, and family engagement.
3.Increase annual contributed revenue to $1.8M to fully fund Forerunner’s donor-supported ministry model, sustain program growth, strengthen staffing capacity, and expand services for single moms and their boys in Lake Highlands.
