Mission

CALA Alliance fulfilled its mission to nurture artistic Latinx artists interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary. Supporting three artists -regional, exchange and national-providing studio space, curatorial support and PR opportunities cumulating to exhibitions at the ASU Art Museum and performances at the Phoenix Art Museum. CALA mobilized eight arts and cultural literacy programs to different neighborhoods and community spaces through How I Became an Artista and Presenta programming connecting Latinx artistic practice to commissions, community workshops and collaboration opportunities.
