Social Responsibility Through Me

Mission

It is to engage, employ and empower youth with the skills and support they need to become positive leaders in their communities. Social Responsibility Through Me (SRTM) is committed to disrupting systemic inequities by empowering youth and families through after-school enrichment, social-emotional learning, and community-based development. We exist to help children and families in underserved communities grow, lead, and thrive.

Vision

SRTM’s vision is to build a society of socially aware, responsible, and active adults that care about their community, participate in issues that affect their neighborhoods, and become the next generation of educated leaders.

Goals

1.Serve five schools with 500 students in grades K-8 by expanding from the current schools that we serve to reach at least one traditional public school and another charter or renaissance school.
2.Grow the SRTM After School & Summer Program by serving at least 200 youth each summer and 500 youth each school year. Youth who attend our programs would be able to be served all year.
3.Work with consultants from VEC to improve our Board, Marketing, Communications and PR.
