Mission

As a nonprofit news organization that uses documentary storytelling to illustrate the impact of the past on the present and serve students, educators and the general public, we are working to solve the information crisis by: - Revitalizing history and civics education, using a format that engages students – short-form video that focuses on storytelling. - Providing journalism that is nonpartisan and grounded in facts (not opinion) which is critical for rebuilding trust in information sources. - Creating tools to support media literacy and combat misinformation.

Vision

Imagine a world where there is a renewal of critical thinking and inquiry skills, and a civil discourse around a common set of incontrovertible facts.

Goals

1.Expand our programs to 100,000 teachers and 5,000,000 students by 2025.
2.Increase revenue to $10M by 2025 through a diversified mix of income, increasing philanthropic support and generating earned revenue from co-productions via tv/streaming.
3.Develop three to four national projects each year that will generate public attention on our mission.
