Mission

The Northridge Science Olympiad Booster Club shall champion academic excellence, innovation, and teamwork by providing unwavering support to our student competitors. We aim to foster a culture of curiosity, resilience, and achievement through fundraising, mentorship, and community engagement. By empowering students to pursue STEM challenges with confidence and creativity, we help shape the next generation of problem-solvers, leaders, and changemakers.

Goals

1.Establish sustainable fundraising initiatives to provide financial support for competition fees, travel expenses, materials, and equipment. This includes organizing community events, securing sponsorships, and pursuing grants to ensure every student has access to the tools they need to succeed.
2.Build a strong network of volunteers, mentors, and alumni to assist with coaching, event preparation, and logistical support. Encourage parent involvement and create opportunities for students to connect with STEM professionals for guidance and inspiration.
3.Promote the achievements and activities of the Science Olympiad team through school communications, social media, and local outreach. Strengthen ties with the broader community to raise awareness of the program’s impact and foster pride in academic competition.
