Kentucky Resources Council Inc.

Mission

Kentucky Resources Council is a statewide public-interest environmental law and advocacy organization that uses legal and strategic advocacy to defend Kentucky’s people, communities, and natural resources from the harm caused by environmental issues. Since 1984, the Council has stood before courts, local governments, agencies, and the legislature, to protect Kentucky's natural resources and communities and advocate for those who live downhill, downwind, and downstream of environmental problems. We represent our clients free of charge to remove the economic barriers that too often obstruct the quest for environmental justice.
