Adaptability Statement
30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, just like many other organization, Steel Magnolias lost both members and donors. Since then, we have doubled down on our efforts to recruit new members and attract new donors and both are on the rise again. In 2022, we brought on board a part time administrative assistant and in 2023 we contracted a bookkeeper. This allows our fewer members to focus on our marketing and fundraising, and to delegate administrative tasks to the contracted help.
