Vision

By working to create a more comfortable living environment we can increase the stability of those who age out of the system while acting as a barrier to homelessness, incarceration, and multi-generational foster care involvement; all issues that affect the aging-out population. We aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve, one home at a time.

Goals

1. 1.H2H continually evaluates our ability to expand services to reach more young adults in need. As finances allow, we develop, with the help of our thirty referring partners, additional objective referral criteria. In 2024, we expanded three times to bring services to those who are 1) employed, 2) parenting and/or 3) enrolled in a life coaching program, without regard their educational credentials.
2. 2.Identifying and partnering with other organizations, primarily foster care agencies, who are best equipped to identify and refer young adults in need is primary to accomplishing our mission. Additionally, we partner with those who work in the foster care space - not providing care itself, but providing programs to those in care. Expansions to new partners is continually explored.
3. 3.Intake forms allow those referred to us to further explain their needs. Additional needs such as baby items, mentor relationships, or additional furniture we do not typically offer has led us to seek out partners who can fill these needs for H2H referred youth. Rather than reinventing the wheel, H2H seeks out other successful organizations whose programs can enhance the services we are providing.
