Mission

Immigrants in immigration court do not have a right to government-appointed counsel. To ensure indigent immigrants receive equal access to justice and due process, the Santa Barbara County Immigrant Legal Defense Center (ILDC) provides pro bono legal services to people in detention and those who are fighting their court cases following release.

Goals

3.Our third most crucial goal is to cultivate our relationships with stakeholders and partner organizations through ongoing discussions, education, and advocacy for the target population.
