Pets With Disabilities

Mission

A nonprofit organization dedicated to being a voice for the unbroken spirit of the dogs and cats with physical disabilities. The organization provides humane sheltering and specialized vetting for those pets in need. We also provide invaluable support, resources and education for families who’s pet has become disabled or those who are thinking about adding a pet with a disability to their family.

Goals

1.Increase access to rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption services for disabled pets by expanding foster networks, enhancing outreach, and strengthening partnerships with shelters and veterinary providers nationwide
2.Build long-term sustainability by investing in staff, technology, and infrastructure to improve operations, increase efficiency, and ensure we can continue providing life-saving care to pets with disabilities.
3.Develop new programs that address emerging needs of pets with disabilities—such as mobility aid access, caregiver support, and behavioral rehabilitation—based on trends observed through direct community engagement and partner feedback.
