Mission

We are committed to maintaining a best-in-class animal shelter and a community where animals are valued and live in harmony with a knowledgeable and responsive government and citizenry. Our mission focuses on two general areas: 1. Community a. To increase awareness and educate the community regarding responsible dog ownership, county regulations, and the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. b. To provide medical care and nutrition assistance to dogs from low-income families or those needing short-term financial assistance. c. Support policies that provide for compassionate treatment of animals and educate community leaders and state and local officials regarding animal welfare initiatives and best practices. 2. Shelter a. Provide support to Wilson County Animal Control, Lebanon, TN. Establish and maintain a secure and high-quality environment through healthcare services, trained volunteers, and state-of-the-art facilities.
