Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland

Mission

Hunger Network ensures no one goes hungry and no food goes to waste. Begun in 1973 and incorporated as a nonprofit in 1995, we are the largest grassroots hunger relief and food recovery organization in Cuyahoga County. Hunger Network fights food inequity and injustice through a collaborative consortium of hunger centers, food donors and non-profit partners that serve our neighbors in need with dignity and compassion by providing them with accessible, healthy and culturally relevant foods, hygiene items, and resources free of charge. Hunger Network’s environmentally conscious Food Rescue Program utilizes innovative app technology to recover fresh food and deliver it to nearby community distribution locations in under an hour. Food Rescue services operate in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Geauga, Lake and Summit Counties.
