Goals

1. 1.Increasing our finances through campaign and grants would allow us to provide better quality of work in many areas. One area we need someone for is to run the Cass County Reading Railroad Program, which is an early childhood literacy program. We don't have a person who is dedicated to fundraising anymore. These two alone would be a great benefit to our organization.
2. 2.By achieving Goal 1, it would allow us to hire a director for Reading Railroad in order to reach more children and increase the capacity of what that program does. The most pressing issue is Begindergarten, which helps prepare at risk children to enter kindergarten. Having someone to run this would enable us to expand and improve programming.
3. 3.There are a lot of programs in our community dedicated to more emergent needs but not a lot to help people long term. We would like to implement programming to address the root causes of issues local people are facing.
