Vision

As we approach our 20th year delivering love and warmth to babies, children, adolescents, women, and men in need (across the USA), we are grateful for the impact we’ve been blessed to make. At the same time, we know there is unmet demand, so… as long as we are blessed with the ability and another breath in our lungs to continue to do this work… we must continue to serve and grow. The world shows no signs of getting any brighter so how can we not continue and deliver even more loving kindness and warmth to help people keep hope alive and encourage them to truly love others, also! We’ve learned so much over the last almost 19 years, and while we are constantly putting those learnings into action as we go, some new patterns have started to emerge as ways we can significantly increase our impact and make an even bigger difference in the lives of the people we serve! We’ve got a lot of work to do, but together, with God continuing to guide us, we can do it!

Goals

1. 1.Grow impact while continuing to make, process and provide free, lovingly handmade, premium-quality knit and crochet beanies to children, women, and men undergoing chemo, as well as providing NICU blankets to families of fragile preemies in the NICU.
2. 2.Recruit new volunteers/makers/knitters+crocheters to meet the demand, AND to give purpose to more people because we often hear that Knots of Love provides our knit and crocheters with a true sense of purpose! We aim to recruit more makers who are shut-ins, widows, and in addiction recovery as these groups are some in the greatest in need of purpose.
3. 3.Expand our distribution network of hospitals, children’s hospitals, veterans hospitals, NICUs, doctors offices, and infusion centers across the country. We currently distribute to 590 distribution locations across the USA.
