Mission

THE ORGANIZATION WAS FOUNDED TO RAISE AWARENESS OF CHICAGO ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL (CACC), PROVIDE EXTRA CARE FOR THE ANIMALS AT THE SHELTER BEYOND THE CITY'S RESOURCES AND HELP MORE ANIMALS TO FIND NEW HOMES.

Vision

Friends of Animal Care & Control envisions a world in which every animal is safely housed in a loving home.

Goals

1.Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control (FCACC) seeks to maintain the unique After Hours Crisis Care program, which provides emergency veterinary care through a private animal medical center to animals who arrive at the Chicago Animal Care & Control (CACC) shelter after veterinary staff have left for the day.
2.FCACC plans to increase diversion efforts providing food and services that allow people to keep their pets and not have to relinquish them to shelter.
