The Tuskegee Airmen National Historical Museum

Mission

The mission of the Tuskegee Airmen National Historical (TANHM) and Flight Academy is to preserve the artifacts, airplanes, and history of the Tuskegee Airmen and leverage their legacy to create a new generation of pilots, air traffic controllers, and maintenance technicians to fill the pipeline of aerospace industry shortages. With our vision of remembering the past, invest in aviation and aerospace educational opportunities through training and other initial to provide career pathways for underserved youth. The organization is an operational repository of the Tuskegee Airmen's history and artifacts while providing an active learning community through classroom and hands-on aviation and aerospace engineering programs.
