    THE NORTH STAR HISTORIC CONSERVANCY WAS FORMED TO RESTORE MAINTAIN AND OPERATE THE NORTH STAR HOUSE AND MORE THAN 14 ACRES OF GROUNDS AS A CULTURAL GATHERING CENTER BRINGING THE MAGIC OF THE ARTS THEATER LITERATURE HISTORY AND MUSIC TO GENERATIONS OF CHILDREN YOUTH AND ADULTS AS WELL AS PROVIDING A UNIQUE ENVIRONMENT THAT NOURISHES THE CREATIVE SPIRIT. NORTH STAR HOUSE IS LISTED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES. IT HAS NATIONAL SIGNIFICANCE IN THREE AREAS.
