Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis

Mission

Founded in 1943, Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis seeks to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Our volunteer-delivered, Pre-Kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential. With the help of more than 5,000 volunteers, JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21st-century global marketplace. The Greater St. Louis area includes the following districts in surrounding regions: Springfield, MO -Junior Achievement in Southwest Missouri Columbia, MO - Junior Achievement in Central Missouri Cape Girardeau, MO - Junior Achievement in Southwest Missouri Hannibal, MO/Quincy, IL - Junior Achievement in Northeast Missouri and West-Central Illinois Southern, Il - Junior Achievement in Southern Illinois Terre Haute, IN - Junior Achievement in Wabash Valley

Junior Achievement creates a world in which young people have the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities. Through the partnership of the business and education communities, Junior Achievement helps young people be prepared to thrive in their future. We help their dreams become reality.
