    Mission

    The mission of Disability Resource Association is personal empowerment for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and individuals in need. As a Center for Independent Living, we offer basic services of Advocacy, Information and Referral, Peer Consultation and Support, Independent Living Skills Training, and Transitioning Support (from a nursing facility back home, or from high school into adulthood). We have also developed 20 additional programs, all with the focus of empowering individuals to live with health, safety, dignity, and independence, in their own homes in the communities they choose.
