CHARTER SCHOOL BASED IN VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE BRONX, SERVING GRADES K-8. THE SCHOOL WAS ESTABLISHED TO PREPARE YOUNG PEOPLE FROM NEW YORK CITY TO COMPETE FOR ADMISSION TO, AND SUCCEED IN, TOP PUBLIC, PRIVATE, AND PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS. BCSE 1, THE FLAGSHIP SCHOOL IS BASED IN THE PARKCHESTER SECTION OF THE BRONX.
