Sahaba Initiative aims to develop healthy individuals and families through social services and community efforts which include mental health, mentorship and direct services.

Vision

To transform communities and support families in crisis through addressing core areas in housing, hunger, economic stability, and mental well-being.

Goals

1.Transition to a Client Choice pantry. This will help reduce food waste, educate and empower clients to make healthier choices, and provides a more dignified experience for clients.
2.Become a designated mental health promoter for the MENA community in Riverside county. Given our background and experiences we are perfectly suited to serve the MENA community with cultural humility.
3.Purchase a small housing complex to provide affordable housing solutions to families in need with a focus on refugees.
