Alabaster International

Mission

We journey into isolated communities in East Africa to cultivate health and wellness in Indigenous women and their families, communicating through action that they are not forgotten.

Vision

Our vision is a world where each woman has the freedom and capacity to care for herself and her family without obstacles. In this world, she has the space to dream, the joy of laughter, and the resources to be healthy and whole. As she grows and becomes whole, so too does her community. With each woman's empowerment, the community strengthens and flourishes. This is the future Alabaster International is committed to creating – a world where the well-being of each woman reflects the health of her entire community.

Goals

1.To enhance food security for rural women in East Africa through innovative agricultural solutions, focused on empowering female smallholders to cultivate indigenous and orphaned crops.
2.Continuing to capacity-build our Board of Directors and build up our new Advisory Board to enhance governance and strategic planning.
3.Continue to invest in and capacity-build our local partnerships in East Africa, particularly to enhance healthcare access and female entrepreneurship.
