Vision

The Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) has a 15-year track record accelerating economic investments, opportunity and impact in Greater Los Angeles; supporting and scaling clean technology companies; delivering training and high-road green job opportunities for Angelenos; and working with policymakers, industry, utilities, community partners and other key stakeholders to navigate the complexities of citywide and regional governance and innovation. Known as an effective catalyst for environmental, economic and social development, LACI champions ambitious climate action policies and solutions to enhance and strengthen communities across the region. These initiatives can become state, national and global models of perseverance and equity in a climate-impacted world.

Goals

1. 1.Support the commercialization of clean technologies by derisking the go-to-market process and helping startups successfully deliver market-ready cleantech solutions in Southern California and cities across the country.
2. 2.Accelerate systems change on key initiatives across zero-emission transportation and mobility, clean energy and sustainable cities.
3. 3.Recruit diverse entrepreneurs, including women founders, people of color, LGBTQ+, and veterans into our cleantech ecosystem and our high-touch, high-outcome Green Jobs workforce development program.
