First Resource Center

Mission

It is our mission to help provide food resources to the people in Anderson County struggling to survive!

Vision

Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope!

Goals

1.We expect to become a minihub for Midwest Food Bank, to provide food resources to food pantries in 4 or 5 other counties surrounding us. Working towards this for a go-live in 2026.
2.Working on financing the creation of a 6900 sq ft hydroponic facility to raise fresh produce locally for our clients.
3.Fundraising activities to increase funding and awareness, as well as grant writing for larger program development and sustainment are key to our future as we develop the minihub and hydroponic facility to serve even more people in our expanded area!
