Making healthcare affordable and accessible for those in developing countries while encouraging economic stability and independence within their communities.

Goals

1. 1.The healthcare needs are great in developing countries. Folks are dying from illnesses that we, in the US, may consider common ailments and annoyances. In an effort to stand in the healthcare gap, through relationships and insight from the staff who live and work in the regions and with government officials we are best to achieve greater healthcare access, even reaching to remote locations.
2. 2.Through regular communication with staff, government officials and data we are meeting the healthcare needs that develop through political violence, unstable communities and natural disaster. Services are being added as funding becomes available.
3. 3.Young Scholars program provides scholarships to nationals interested in a career in medicine and committing to serve their communities through a Three Strands facility. The stateside staff is increasing to meet the fundraising needs necessary to expand our current facilities and locations in response to identified needs.
